The good news is that God is going to save America from destruction. Also, the bad news is that God is going to save America from destruction.
How can the news that God is going to save America be bad news? You’d better be sitting down when you hear the answer.i
This all began when I was overcome and blurted out a question to God. Will America be destroyed!?
I was aware that I might be breaking the rules by even asking. It was like asking a wife if she forgives the husband who is still with the other woman, with no sign that he will ever repent, or return.
This is not what we should be doing. I had no business doing it. Instead, I should have been repenting on behalf of America. We should all be praying and fasting like Daniel did when he said:
“As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us; yet we have not made our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth. Therefore, the Lord has kept the disaster in mind and brought it upon us; for the Lord our God is righteous in all the works which He does, though we have not obeyed His voice. And now, O Lord our God, who brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and made Yourself a name, as it is this day—we have sinned, we have done wickedly!” (Daniel 9:13-15).
Note that even though Daniel knew he was innocent of these heinous crimes, he interceded for his nation. And God heard him over the vast and loud wickedness of Israel. That is stunning!
The promise in James 5:16 is true, “…the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
Nevertheless, I gave in to the temptation to ask God if America would be destroyed. As soon as I did, I knew I had no right to an answer. BUT I GOT ONE ANYWAY, AND THE ANSWER SHOCKED ME!
The answer is the terrifying things God will allow to happen to bring us to repentance. Just because it is not destruction, does not mean it will not be painful. Think about the implications―it means that calamities will come to whatever extent God decides is necessary for the survival of the nation.
Please read these key points.
1. His calamities will begin at the house of God. 1 Peter 4:17, “For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?”
To keep America from being destroyed, the Lord is willing to uproot the churches that have been built by human marketing. He is willing to rain down judgment on ministries that have perverted His purposes for the Church. Those who have led the sheep of God into false doctrines and false goals. He is willing to drag their secret sins out into public shame. He could strike them down, even while they are standing in the pulpit, if the only alternative is the death of America.
The day can come where it is said that flashy, fleshly preachers were repeatedly warned–but now it is too late.
It is the next verse, verse 6, that is chilling: “Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.” How can this event in Israel be an example, unless it means the possibility exists that we can suffer the same fate?
2. God is willing to topple the wealth of America and humble her before the world, in order to save her―before all the barons of social media and technology whose hearts are set on selling us to China.
But Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey and Jeff Bezos have something else in common. They have taken upon themselves to encroach upon the authority of God and have made themselves the enemies of the Church. They are not safe from His wrath, which could come in an instant.
But our Bible passage tells us something about these new people who were brought into the land: they did not fear the LORD; therefore, “the LORD sent lions among them.” When the Israelites were conquered and could not defend the land, God supernaturally defended it, and “the LORD sent lions among them” to do it!
Here is the last point God gave me:
4: The strategies and tactics for taking America back are being released from heaven to a special core. God does not want to take these extreme steps if moral awakening can come through the Church. Just as Daniel could stay the disaster upon Israel by fervent prayer and fasting—just as Ezra could pray in front of masses of compromised Jews and cause them to turn—just as John the Baptist could prepare a generation for Christ—just so, we, as the remnant, can be the firewall.
A remnant is forming for just one purpose: To snatch America back from the jaws of death. They are converging around the throne of God. They are shaking off lesser living and lesser purposes. They are described in these verses, “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.” (2 Timothy 2:20-21).
Hear me! Not only can you be prepared for a good work, but for the greatest work that any generation of Americans has ever been called to do—to be used of God to turn America away from destruction!
